Hellens Garden Festival blooms into life at the Much Marcle stately home, this weekend.
A spokesman said: "With warm weather expected over the weekend, what better way to enjoy it than by taking a walk through the Hellens estate landscape while supporting fundraising for St. Michael’s Hospice?
"The estate features physic gardens that are bursting with varieties and colours of plants and flowers."
The spokesman added: "Follow the meandering pathway through the meadow up to the striking hand carved stone circle. Along the way you will follow the sculpture trail, showcasing outstanding local artisan sculptors and crafts-people’s work.
"A new addition to this year is the community land artwork project, where visitors can be part of the creation of a mandala using recycled, reused and repurposed items. For those seeking an in depth knowledge of horticulture and craftsmanship, talks are also taking place across the weekend; and there is plenty to do for the little ones as well, with arty activities taking place throughout the course of both days."
The Hellens Garden Festival will take place on Saturday June 10 and Sunday June 11, from 10am to 5pm both days.
