A MAN was taken to hospital after he was assaulted outside a Ledbury pub.
The 36-year-old man suffered head injuries after he was attacked outside The Retreat public house in High Street.
The injured man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham after the attack, which happened at around 12.20am on Sunday, March 12.
He was reported to have been involved in an argument with another man prior to the assault.
Officers from West Mercia Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the assault or seen anyone acting suspiciously.
They would also like to speak to anyone who witnessed any anti-social behaviour inside the pub prior to the assault outside or anyone who was in the area at the time.
Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Constable Theresa Wood at West Mercia Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 024S of 12 March.
*A 28-year-old man from Ledbury has been arrested on suspicion of assault and was bailed to the police station on June 8.
