LEDBURY folks who fancy walking on the wild side should make contact with the local branch of the Workers' Education Association.

The Ledbury branch of the WEA is set to launch a new naturalists' course called Naturewatch this spring, beginning on March 9.

A spokesman said: "Each week a different wildlife expert will be talking on their own subject using powerpoint presentation, video and with plenty of discussion time. "Some will be bringing along live exhibits for you to see and handle."

There will be talks on birds, whales and dolphins dragonflies, reptiles, pole cats and pine martins, and orchards.

The spokesman added: "Many of these talks will be followed up with week-end field trips. Family and friends might like to join these too."

The lectures will take place on Thursday mornings at Ledbury Baptist Hall, the Homend, Ledbury, from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
