RAIN dances are well known, but youngsters at Busy Bees recently tried out a more unusual snow dance for fun, and last Friday it actually seemed to work.
Busy Bees manager, Emma Davis said: "The children were absolutely delighted to see the snow on Friday - for many of them it was their first snow.
"We read a snowy story before wrapping up warm and going outside to play in it. The children noticed that our Forest School area was covered with snow and thought about the birds being hungry which led on to us feeding the birds too."
She added: "Although we had great fun in the snow, it wasn't long before we all got very cold. It was time to go back to Busy Bees to warm up with hot chocolate and toast whilst snuggled in blankets."
