THE JOHN Masefield High School in Ledbury is encouraging local parents to make their views known on a reduction in assisted places on school buses.

A spokesman said: "Herefordshire Council will be discussing its recent changes to school transport provision next Tuesday, January 17.

"There’s been a reduction in the number of children eligible for assisted places on school buses if they live more than three miles from school."

The spokesman added "Members of the public are welcome to submit comments and questions by emailing tbrown@herefordshire.gov.uk."

The cut off, is Thursday, January 12.
