FLOODING has been reported on a number of roads in the local area, following the deluge conditions on Monday and on into Tuesday morning.

The Bromyard area appears to have been particularly hard hit.

On Tuesday afternoon, (November 22), Herefordshire Council was reporting flooding on the B4214 near the Rock Caravan Park, Bromyard, although the road was judged to be "passable with extreme care", as was the A44 at Bredenbury.

There was flooding at Broad Bridge in Bromyard, on the B4219, which was also judged "passable with extreme care".

Social media has been reporting some flooding problems in the Ledbury area.

Also on Tuesday afternoon, motorists were reporting that the Dymock Road access was closed at the Full Pitcher roundabout, due to flooding; but this was not being listed as closed by Herefordshire Council.

Flooding was also reported on Monday morning at Chances Pitch on the Worcester Road, but the road remained passable.

Motorists also reported floods on the Bosbury road, both on Monday and on into Tuesday; but it remained passable.

However, Herefordshire Council did issue a flood warning on Tuesday morning for the Bromsberrow, Bosbury, and Wedderburn Bridge areas, due to rising river levels, and further updates will be issued by the council, following checks.

The warning is that flooding is possible and drivers should remain aware.
