ANOTHER burglary has been reported in Ledbury.

A house at "the upper part of The Homend" was burgled at some time between the early hours of Tuesday November 10 and 9pm on Thursday 12th November 2015.

A police spokesman said: "The occupants were away on holiday at the time and someone climbed onto a porch roof and then forced the wooden sash window to gain entry to the first floor bedroom.

"Once inside the offenders searched most rooms in the house in what looks to be a search for cash and jewellery."

The spokesman added:"Although the house was unoccupied for two days a neighbour heard noises in the address on what they thought was Tuesday November 10, between 7pm and 9.30pm."

Police want to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area of The Homend and Knapp Lane around the times given.

Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting the incident number 0129S 121115, and to leave details for Detective Constable 3312 Laurence James.

He said: "We would like to remind people that when they go away for a few days or just pop out for the evening to make sure they leave lights on inside to make it look like their homes are occupied.

"And we would urge people to call police when they see something suspicious no matter how insignificant."
