THE traffic stopped in Ledbury on Wednesday, for Armistice Day, on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.
One of the many Ledbury residents who gathered at the war memorial, to pay respects during the two minute's silence, was Una Morgan.
She said: "Although the parade and traffic closures were on Sunday, for Remembrance Sunday, the traffic stopped for the two minutes. "There were prayers from Revd Rodney Harrison who began with a roll call the names of the local men who died in Flanders and Gallipoli in 1915.
"It was a very moving two minutes."
