LEDBURY Library, based in the Master's House, will be the venue for a literary salon next week.
On Tuesday November 17, writer and academic Lisa Blower will be talking about literature and discussing the books that made people cry and the books that have changed lives.
Lisa Blower won The Guardian’s National Short Story Competition in 2009 for her story - Broken Crockery. Her fiction has also appeared in The Guardian, Comma Press, and on Radio 4.
She has a PhD in Creative and Critical Writing from the University of Bangor, where she taught on their Creative Writing programme.
Refreshments for a donation will be provided by the Friends of Ledbury Library.
