KIND-HEARTED staff at the Tesco store in Ledbury have signed up as charity volunteers.
A team of 11 employees will run the St Michael's Hospice charity shop in The Homend, Ledbury, every Wednesday.
The shop is currently closed on Wednesdays due to a lack of volunteers but from November 4 onwards the Tesco team have come to the rescue.
Dawn Davies, people manager at Tesco in Ledbury, said: "To have 11 people giving up their own time to support a local charity is a great achievement.
"We are all excited about it and can't wait to get started.
"St Michael's Hospice is a cause that everybody can relate to and it touches so many people's hearts.
"Running the charity shop is a fantastic opportunity for us to get involved in the local community and to make a big difference."
Volunteers from Tesco will be sorting donation bags, stacking the charity shop's shelves and serving customers.
