THE 1st Colwall Scouts are holding their annual jumble sale on Saturday, September 19, at the scout hut and village hall.

The sale is a highly popular event in the village, and in past years, queues have formed at the venue at least an hour before the doors opened.

Some £5,000 was raised last year, which helps to fund the activities of the Scouts, Cubs and Beavers, which this year included a visit to the world jamboree in Japan.

The Scouts have been busy all this week collecting jumble for households across the village, and are looking forward to seeing everyone at the sale, which runs from 2pm to 4pm.
