BROMSBERROW woman, Jan Long of Heath House opened the curtains at breakfast time to see a most unusual and formidable visitor in her garden.
Mrs Long, a member of Ledbury Rotary Club and a volunteer at the Bromsberrow community shop said: "I was met with rather a grisly sight - a hawk breakfasting on a pigeon.
"I wonder what type of hawk it is? Being quite small, would that make it a sparrowhawk?"
