THREE people have been arrested in Ledbury in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man in Edgbaston.
A 27-year-old man from Edgbaston was arrested in Ledbury, at 10.40am on Thursday morning on suspicion of murder.
A 24-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, also from Edgbaston, were arrested at the same time on suspicion of assisting an offender.
All three are now being interviewed by West Midlands Police.
Police were called to an address in Brewers Square, Edgbaston, at 9.45pm by ambulance colleagues who reported finding a 55-year-old man with serious stab injuries.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and a post mortem examination confirmed he died from a stab wound.
A 30-year-old man arrested on Friday, August 7, remains on police bail with strict conditions which include reporting daily to a police station and to live and sleep at a specified address. He will return for more police questioning next month.
