LOCAL artist Tony Bateman will be holding an exhibition at the Weavers Gallery in Ledbury, opening on Monday, July 27.

Tony intends to cram the available space with a wide selection of his work, using a variety of techniques and ideas, both quirky and conventional which, he says, have drifted his way in recent years: from pigeons in Glasgow to flooding at Upton, from puffins on cliff tops to vintage cars. Some of the original art work from Ledbury Sketchbook, published by Fineleaf Editions, will also be on display.

Pam Watson, a relative newcomer to the Ledbury art scene, will also be exhibiting her paintings of scenes, landscapes and communities from times past. Intimate court yards, colourful washing lines, play streets and cottages all feature strongly.
