TWO men featured in CCTV images released by police as part of the investigation into the murder of Hereford man Christian Bagley have come forward.

The images of the pair walking past Sainsbury's in the direction of the Hunderton Bridge just after the incident at 11pm on Sunday 21st June were released earlier this week as part of the investigation into the stabbing.

Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Leighton Harding said both men had now contacted police and thanked them for their assistance.

"We are currently pursuing various lines of enquiry but continue to encourage the local community to come forward with any information they may have which could help bring those responsible for Christian's death to justice,” he said. “You may hold a vital piece of information."

Mr Bagley died after he was stabbed between 10.40pm and 11pm on Father’s Day, Sunday June 21, while walking home after visiting his two-year-old daughter.
