A TONGUE-TIED Italian chef has become an internet sensation after struggling to pronounce the word Worcestershire.
Pasquale Sciarappa was recording a video for his Orsara Recipes You Tube channel and made a right meal of saying Worcestershire Sauce.
The result is a hilarious clip that has gone viral, clocking up a whopping 959,000 views since it was uploaded on Sunday (November 16).
Tripping over the unfamiliar word, the eccentric Mr Sciarappa tried “wan-je-shoo-sha” and “wan-chest-er-shine”, much to the amusement of the cameraman, but could not find the correct pronunciation.
Getting frustrated with himself he even exclaimed "I don't know what kind of country this came from”.
But the wacky incident has ultimately ended well for the chef, who shares his authentic Italian recipes and cooking tips on You Tube.
The clip has handed him worldwide publicity and brought him to attention of thousands of web users across the globe.
He commented on the video “thank you everyone - we are all very surprised to see this video being the 3rd most popular video on YouTube right now”.
