MP Bill Wiggin is due to raise the question of mobile phone signals in rural Herefordshire with a high government offical next week.
Mr Wiggin will be meeting Sajid Javid MP, secretary of state at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, on Tuesday, October 21.
He will be handing over a petition he received from Fownhope Parish Council with over 300 signatures, about mobile signal in the village and the cancellation of plans for a mobile phone mast.
Mr Wiggin said: “I am very much looking forward to meeting the secretary of state and putting the case to him directly for Fownhope and other areas in North Herefordshire that struggle for reception.
"This meeting is the next important step in my fight for Fownhope and improved mobile phone signal in Herefordshire.
I will of course keep everyone updated as to the outcome of our discussions next Tuesday.”
