PRIMARY youngsters in Ledbury made sure this week that hospitality was really their cup of tea, in advance of a Macmillan Coffee morning on Friday, September 26.
Carrying cakes and serving tea will have been practised to perfection, in advance of the first guests arriving in the main hall of Ledbury Primary, at 9am, on the big day.
The different year groups will work in shifts, with a new class taking on serving duties every twenty minutes.
The event, which was scheduled to run until 11.20am, will also be linked to the town's Value's project.
Special guests, both showing support for the community values project, will include local blacksmith, Stephen McRae and Eastnor Potter, Jon Williams.
Ledbury Primary is a Values Education school, with the aim of nurturing universal positive values, such as respect, honesty, compassion, trust and integrity.
Head teacher Julie Rees, recently approached Ledbury Town Council and won support to make Ledbury a values town.
