THE full inquest into the deaths of Bosbury pensioners John and Elizabeth Knott may not take place unto the end of the year, according to the Hereford Coroners' Office.
A date is still to be set.
Meanwhile, the Ledbury Reporter understands that the funeral of the Knotts has now taken place "as a private family affair". The funeral was not held in Bosbury, but further details are not forthcoming.
The Knotts were found dead, each with a single shotgun wound, last month.
West Mercia Police have indicated that no third party was being sought in connection with the shootings.
An inquest into the deaths opened at Hereford Town Hall on August 18, and was adjourned for a later date.
