THE end of the First World War, one century on from the start of the conflict, will be the theme a learned talk, given to a Ledbury audience.
Wiltshire-based historian, Dr Nick Lloyd, will reflect upon his latest work, Hundred Days: The End of the Great War and the family tragedy that inspired his book.
Dr Lloyd is Senior Lecturer in Defence Studies at King's College London, and is based at the UK Defence Academy in Shrivenham, Wiltshire.
The talk will be on Thursday April 24, in the Burgage Hall, Church Lane, at 7:30pm.
Tickets are £5, redeemable against the purchase of the book, and they are available from Ledbury Books and Maps
