THE playground at a city primary school is set for a £7,000 makeover.
St Paul's Primary School in Hampton Dene has been selected by the Natwest Supergrounds programme, which is managed by the national school grounds charity Learning through Landscapes and environmental charity Groundwork.
It is now down to the pupils to draw up plans for the new look playground.
Alison Woodcock, Natwest's business development manager for Herefordshire, who is also a parent and member of the Friends of St Paul's, suggested the school for the makeover.
"It is often very difficult for schools to raise the funds necessary to make playground improvements so this scheme seemed an ideal way to help," she said.
