A mother had her handbag stolen as she walked across Great Western Way in Hereford.

The white shoulder bag, which had a Playboy logo, was taken from the handles of a pushchair last Monday at around 8.20am. The bag contained cash and bank cards.

The victim was walking with her young son along the footpath in Hunderton when she turned her attention away from the pushchair and a passer-by is thought to have taken the bag.

Several people were on the footpath at the time and police want to hear from anyone who saw the bag being taken or saw someone carrying a similar bag.

Anyone with information can call the Public Service Desk on 08457 444888.
