A MAN facing two counts of attempted murder - relating to incidents in Hereford in April - is due to stand trial at Cambridge Crown Court today facing three separate charges connected to a triple murder committed in Peterborough.

Gary ‘Stretch’ Richards, 47, formerly of Hereford and Kington, denies three counts of preventing burial, relating to the murder of three men in Peterborough - Kevin Lee, Lukasz Slaboszewski and John Chapman.

The bodies of the men were found between March 30 and April 3 last year.

He also denied the two charges of attempted murder related to Hereford at a recent hearing in the Old Bailey.

Joanna Dennehy, 30, from Peterborough, pleaded guilty in November to three counts of murder in Peterborough and the attempted murders of Robin Bereza and John Rogers in Hereford on April 2.
