A TEENAGE girl was assaulted by three men in Hereford yesterday lunchtime.

Police, seeking witnesses, say the 17-year-old was walking along Kingsway at around 12.45pm (November 15) when she was approached by the men.

They tapped the victim on the shoulder and tried to engage in a conversation with her.

Two of the men then took hold of her arms before the other man punched her to the stomach.

PC Jane Price from Hereford police station said the girl has no idea who the men were but, from what they said to her, it appears they knew who she was.

All three men are described as white, 5ft 6ins tall and aged around 18.

The man who punched the victim in the stomach is described as having a large build, with dark, spiky hair. He was wearing a grey hooded top and light coloured trousers and also, a silver chain and a gold ring.

One of the men who took hold of the girl is described as having blond hair and was wearing a navy blue hooded top. The other is described as having dark hair and was wearing a brown hooded top.
