WITH January being Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, people are being urged to raise cash for cancer research by becoming “smartie pants”.
They can do it by holding a dress in purple day or enjoying a purple party at work or school – or even playing Cancer Research UK’s smartie pants quiz.
The aim is to raise cash for research into finding a cure.
Cervical cancer is said to be the 12th most common cancer in women in the UK.
Visit cancerresearchuk.org or call 08701 40 60 201 to register for a fund-raising pack.
