Breast Cancer Campaign encourages people to 'Step On It' this year

IF you walk 46,000 steps in one year, you will be taking one step for each person diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK.

At the same time you could be helping to reduce your own risk of diseases such as breast cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, colon cancer and osteoporisis.

Breast Cancer Campaign wants more people to Step On It this year to get back into shape after the festive season and to help raise money for more research into breast cancer.

It will send a free pedometer, hints and tips on how to clock up the steps, together with sponsor forms.

It says 46,000 steps is approximately 23 miles.

Anyone interested should call 020 7749 4126 or visit friendshipwalks.co.
