Walkers enjoy a bit of a 'to do'

12:40pm Tuesday 30th June 2009

A KINGTON man and his friends had a bit of a ‘TO DO’ last week trying to raise awareness of prostate cancer.

Tony Collier was joined by his brother-in-law Stuart Smith and colleagues Jim Smith and Sara Randall for a massive 178-mile walk dubbed The Offas Dyke Ordeal (or the Great TODO).

All were hoping to reach the finish line in Prestatyn last Saturday and have been selling each one of their 178 miles to sponsors at a cost of £10 each to raise £2,500 for the Prostate Cancer Charity.

Anyone interested in buying a mile can send payment online via PayPal to collier13@btinternet.com.
