IF you suffer from Barrett's oesophagus you could help staff at Hereford County Hospital carry out a trial using aspirin.
But you will need plenty of patience because it could last eight years.
People with Barrett's oesophagus, better known as the food pipe, have stomach acid that rises causing frequent heartburn. The acid damages the cells in the lining of the oesophagus and in some cases they can turn cancerous.
Cancer Research UK is funding the trial and anyone prepared to give it a go and wanting to know more should phone Cancer Research UK's cancer information nurses on 0207 061 8355.
