BOOKING hospital appointments could soon become easier with a new Wye Valley NHS Trust system.
Its referral management centre will speed up the booking process and provide a more flexible service.
It will include text messages to remind patients of appointments, 19,000 of which were missed during 2012/13 costing the trust an estimated £1.6 million.
It aims to have the system fully operational by September.
