BUPA’S residential and nursing home in Leominster is throwing open its doors this summer for the public to join in a typical day of activities.
The idea aims to provide an opportunity for anyone considering a career in elderly or nursing care to chat with staff and see how rewarding their work is.
Thousands of similar venues will follow suit on June 21 as part of the first ever National Care Home Open Day.
Bupa’s home will be organising some of its residents’ favourite activities and inviting the public to join in the fun that will feature traditional games as well as arts and crafts.
