IN Staffordshire, there’s more low-cost fun to be had as Weston Park has extended its Kids Go Free voucher for the whole of August. Children can gain free entry to the park and gardens by downloading a voucher direct from the website at weston-park.com When accompanied by a paying adult, each voucher entitles free entry for one child to the 1,000-acre estate which includes an adventure playground, giant outdoor games in the courtyard, a medieval deer park and Pendrell’s Cave.
For an additional charge, families can take a whistlestop trip around Temple Wood and Pool on the miniature railway.
The park and gardens are open from 11am to 6.30pm, with the last admission at 5.30pm. The house is open from 1pm to 5pm with the last admission at 4.30pm. Refreshments are available from the Stables Courtyard.
The vouchers enable free entrance for one child per full paying adult and cannot be used in conjunction with any other public events or promotions. Only one voucher may be used per transaction.
Regular admission to the park and gardens is £5 for adults, £4.50 for senior citizens. Admission to the house is £3 per adults and £2.50 for senior citizens and children. Rides on the miniature railway cost £2 for adults and £1.50 for children and senior citizens.
