HAY author Martin Beale features in the second episode of BBC Wales programme, Border Country, with Iola Williams which is aired on BBC Two Wales this evening (Thursday) at 7.30pm.

The series follows the wildlife presenter along the 170-mile Offa's Dyke and this week includes the mid-Walian stretch.

Starting out in the Black Mountains and taking in Capel-y-ffin, Hay-on-Wye and Hergest Croft Gardens near Kington, tonight's programme touches upon the lives of Owain Glyndwr, Eric Gill, and Hay poisoner' Herbert Armstrong.
