A HEREFORD charity that offers furniture to flood affected homes is to receive a cash boost from a joint newspaper campaign.
The Special Flood Fund, set up by the Worcester News and supported by the Hereford Times, is to hand £1,000 to Full House Furniture to offset the running costs of its delivery service.
The money will pay for fuel and insurance costs of their 7.5 tonnes vehicle, which the Holme Lacy firm used to transport recycled furniture to flood victims.
Full House Furniture is one of eight good causes throughout the two counties to benefit from the Flood Fund, which was recently boosted by a £15,000 donation from Barclays Bank.
