SINGING WORKSHOP - For singers and interested observers in Weobley Methodist Chapel, on Tuesday, May 20, at 7.30pm. The workshop is on the traditional ballad Lord Randal (mentioned in Piers Plowman, circa 1380). The cost is £3.50. For details, call Lydia Wells on 01544 319138.
GRAND CHARITY CONCERT - The internationally known Talgarth Male Voice Choir will visit Weobley on Friday, June 6, to sing at a grand charity concert in St Peter and St Paul’s Parish Church following a wine reception at 6.45pm for a 7.30pm start. Proceeds will go to the Fowler Foundation for Children in Cambodia, Vietnam and Rwanda. Tickets are £10 and will be available from Symonds and Co in Hereford, The Weobley Bookshop, Gill’s Gifts in Leominster and Russell, Baldwin and Bright in Kington.
