FETE – Titley Fete is being held at 2pm on August 8 on The Stagg Meadow. Proceeds are being divided between St Peter’s Church and the village hall. The ever-popular dog show starts at 2.15pm and, this year, a cup is being presented in memory of Miss Penelope Davies for “the dog most like its owner”. Just bring your dog along for a fun afternoon, schedules are available from Arrowfield Veterinary Group in Kington. This is followed by the children’s novelty races. There are competitions for all the family and schedules are available from McCartney’s in Kington or the secretary on 01544 231281. There are the usual stalls, including cakes, plants, bottles, nearly new, bric-a-brac and many more. The very famous Titley teas are served during the afternoon and there will be a barbecue and soft drinks on the field. Come and enjoy a great afternoon in Titley.
