Tarrington

12:21pm Thursday 25th June 2009

OPEN GARDENS - The first Tarrington open gardens will take place on Sunday, July 5, from 11am-6pm. There will be seven village gardens, of varying styles and sizes, and we are delighted to include The Vine, with thanks to Mr and Mrs R Price, which is usually opened under the NGS scheme. Tarrington, having already won a gold medal for Tarrington in Bloom, is proud of the variety, through the village, of delightful gardens.

We are also featuring a second-hand gardening book stall and, of course, there will be tea and home-made cakes as well as a plant stall. There will be a display of maypole dancing at 2.30pm and other amusements too. There is to be an art exhibition in Brook House barn where the exhibits can be purchased. We invite you to come and see our beautiful church, for which the funds are being raised. Entrance is by brochure, costing just £3, which can be purchased at any of the gardens and covers entrance to them all.
