In addition to the presentation of a cookery book, it gives the winning child the chance to spend an afternoon in the restaurant kitchens to observe the Bell’s renowned chefs at work. This year’s delighted winner is Lucy Scudamore, aged 11 years. The presentation, which was made by Mrs Janet Hutchings from The Bell, took place at the school following a performance by pupils of The Wizard of Oz, in which Lucy played the part of the lion.
