HARVEST FESTIVAL-The Harvest Festival at the church of St. Cosmas and St. Damian will be held on Sunday 21st September at 11.00am. This beautiful church is now ‘redundant’ and, for any service, special permission has to be granted by the Bishop of Hereford. Although not in regular use, the church is maintained in superb order by local residents and, on the day, will be beautifully decorated in traditional style. The service, a thanksgiving of familiar hymns and readings, will be conducted by the Rev. Christine Mundell. To conclude the celebration, light refreshments will be served.
