NEW HALL - At long last, after many years of hoping, the village has its own brand new village hall. The keys were handed over last week, and although there is still a great deal to do, and the site is not yet cleared for use, our village hall together with its attached new primary school will soon be open for business. The first event will be the gardens open weekend and scarecrow walk, which will take place over the weekend of June 14 to 15. The village hall will be the start and end point as programmes will be sold from there and teas will be served afterwards.
