Presteigne

NEW FOOTBALL TEAM – Presteigne’s new football team Clwb Peldroed Llanandras has had its warm-up tops sponsored for the coming season. The team is Presteigne Colts from last season, that played in the Herefordshire Division 3. This coming season, it has joined the Mid Wales League South.

Because Presteigne already has a reserve team in the league, the Colts had to change its name, hence C P Lanandras. Local supporter Tony Wood kindly donated the tops. Tony has had a long association supporting the Curlew Centre in Presteigne over the past four years and wants to publicise the work the centre does with youngers aged 14 to 19, some out of school for various reasons. They attend the centre for vocational training and home tuition.
