SUMMER FANCY DRESS PARTY – At Preston-on-Wye Village Hall on August 8, from 7.30pm, entry is £5. Get your fancy dress outfits out for a summer fancy dress party to remember!

Nitelites DJs Adi A and Ian will be doing the disco. The bar will be open and Dave’s Chip Van will be in attendance from about 8.30pm. Prizes for best wig, best dressed and others.

All profits will go to The Little Princess Trust, a Herefordshire charity working tirelessly to ease the trauma suffered by boys and girls experiencing hair loss as a result of treatment for cancer and other illnesses. See page 12 for more on this worthy cause, which is supported by the Hereford Times.

COWPATS – Please note that Cowpats sessions on Saturdays have now been stopped. It will be closed during August, and Wednesday evening sessions, from 7pm-9pm, resume on September 9. Anyone wishing to use the facilities is very welcome.
