FETE - Orcop Church Fete is on Bank Holiday Monday at 2.30pm in Orcop Parish Hall. There will be Wizard Wonkey, stalls, games, competitions, raffles and teas. The children’s competition (under-12s) is a picture or collage from leaves and pasta. The competition open to all is a photo of “me and my pet”, with caption. FETE - The annual Much Cowarne village fete will be at Tan House Farm on September 6, from 2pm and will include teas, games, sideshows and steam railway rides. All proceeds go to St Mary’s Church.

CHARITY QUIZ - A new HMSA quiz is now on sale at £1 each. The current theme is singers and bands. £10 gift card for the winner. Closing date for entries August 28. RECYCLING BINS – Ahead of the introduction of the new recycling bins being delivered to every household later in the year, two bins will be on display at the Newtown Cross Garage from Monday, August 10, to Monday, August 24. This will provide an opportunity for residents to compare sizes and to learn how the new system will work.
