Moccas - Blooming lovely


MOCCAS Flower Show, opened by local resident Charlie Morris, was blessed with sunshine.

The village hall was full to capacity with exhibits in all sections, 375 entries in all.

Overall show winner was Heather Jerman who also won the trophies for domestic and vegetable sections. Emily Kitchen, aged seven, won best exhibit in show with her vegetable animal. Michael Sandford had the longest runner bean, Pam Probert was awarded the wine section trophy, Maggie Walsh the flower trophy and John Fletcher the trophy for the craft section. Erica Jerman and Rachel Bradley were joint winners in the under-sevens and under-16s winner was Emily Kitchen.
