Mim May, wife of the late Don
HALL CELEBRATION - Llanwarne residents have commemorated a family which poured £1,000 into their community.
Villagers raised a cup of tea to mark the £23,000 refurbishment of their village hall.
The event was dedicated to former chairman the late Don May, whose family gave generously towards the project.
His wife Mim was guest of honour at the hall, which now includes new kitchen and toilet facilities.
Villagers spent several years raising funds, while Awards for All and Herefordshire Council provided a total of £12,000.
