PARISH COUNCIL - The annual meeting of the parish council was held on Thursday, May 8, which gave the chairman's annual report and covered the appointments of councillors to separate roles. The minutes will be published on lyonshall.net CHURCH EVENTS - On Sunday, there is no service at St Michael & All Angels, but elsewhere in the Arrow Vale group of parishes there is a family service with baptism at Shobdon at 11am, and a Holy Communion (modern) service at Staunton-on-Arrow, also at 11am. Holy Communion (prayer book) services will be held at Moorcourt at 8.30am and at Byton at 9.30am. BAPTIST SERVICE - There will be a Baptist service at 9.30am in the Lyonshall Memorial Hall on Sunday.
