ORGAN EXTRAVAGANZA - If you have ever wondered how a pipe organ works, why not come along to St John the Baptist Church, Lea, tomorrow (Friday) at 7.30pm for an organ extravaganza by Brian D Williiams ACertCM, the organist of St German’s Church, Cardiff, for a demonstration and explanation of various organ pipes. There will also be a programme of music for the organ including Bach’s Toccata in D Minor and Fiat Lux by Theodore Dubois. Tickets are £5 with children under 16 free, and are available by calling 01989 750717, from Lea Stores, and on the door. Refreshments are included in the price. All proceeds to Lea Church.
