FESTIVAL - Kington Festival supporters rocked on Saturday evening when The Bohemians, a Queen tribute band, played live at Lady Hawkins Community Leisure Centre. Tickets were sold out and the hall was packed with a lively crowd who danced the night away! During the evening, hospitality football tickets were auctioned and raised £160, and a well-supported raffle made £205.
Our thanks go to Fingers & Forks for providing delicious food, The Wine Vaults for running the bar and to the disco. We thank you for all your hard work, support and contributions. The 2008 festival programme is now available from a variety of shops in Kington, priced only £1, containing full details of all the medieval festival activities and events. Medieval Kington Festival begins on Friday, June 13, until Sunday, June 22.
