VEHICLE DAMAGED - At approximately 11.30pm on Saturday, April 26, a red VW Golf was parked and left unattended in the High Street at Knighton when it would appear that a number of drunken revellers bounced it down the street towards the Clock Tower. It is fairly clear that this was something of a prank but unfortunately some minor damage was caused to the front nearside door panel. If you were one of those responsible and would like to recompense the vehicle’s owner, please contact PC 407 Bill Cowan at Knighton Police Station.

If you witnessed this incident or know who was responsible, then please contact PC Cowan at the station, call 0845 3302000 or email knighton@dyfed-powys.pnn.police.uk PACT MEETING - A Police and Community Together meeting was held recently in the Knighton Hotel. At the meeting, local residents and town councillors discussed with local police officers the issues of drivers racing cars around the streets, and parking around the town. The counterfeit notes are printed on thicker paper. If anyone is unsure about a note, special pens can be purchased or suspect notes can be taken to your local bank.
