PUDDING DAY - Gladestry Church in Wales Primary School is endeavouring to establish a healthy eating trend. Pupils recently held a puddings day when they took to school favourite recipes for healthy desserts. Under the watchful eyes of their teachers, the children made the puddings for friends to taste. There was a competition to find the favourite.

The event was sponsored by Hybu Cig Cymru-Meat Promotion Wales which is proud to support Health Challenge Wales. Each child was given a ‘Cool2Cook’ recipe book full of great ideas for things like teasy spider burgers, pitt stop sausages and meat ball cones.

Not to be outdone, the adults in the village met later to hold their own puddings evening in the village hall when a good, sticky time was had by all.
