The Hereford Soroptimists celebrate their first anniversary this year. The first year for the Hereford branch of Soroptimist SI has been exceptionally busy raising funds for a variety of charities.

SUMMER BARBECUE – The Friends of Hope-under-Dinmore Village Hall are holding a summer barbecue at the village hall on Saturday, June 14, from 6.30pm. Tickets cost £5 from Jan Collins on 01568 797748. The hall is available for bookings at only £5 per hour, contact Heather Hackley on 01568 616908. The Friends are also collecting suitable stock for a car boot, so if you are having a clear-out (no clothes or electrical goods thank you) bring them along to Panbury Cottage (01568 611753) and all will be sold in aid of village hall funds.
